TERMS & CONDITIONS
Driver’s requirements
-
The driver must be between 23 years and 65 years of age
-
A valid local license or valid overseas international license with qualified driving experience of at least 2 years.
-
Malaysian “P” license holders are not accepted.
-
The renter is to provide a copy of Driving license, passport or local identity card.

Rental rates
-
Daily rental rates cover a minimum of 24 hours rental with unlimited mileage and maintenance
-
Excess hour or Extended hour will be charged according up to a maximum of 5 hours. Renter is to inform MY Johor Transport immediately for additional hours needed.

low battery as electrical devices not turn off

loss and damage to the vehicle accessories.

underbody and overhead damage is liable under renter as not covered by insurance.

all insurance is void if vehicles are driven on unsealed and unmade roads or surfaces.

Insurance
-
Rental rates include full indemnity for accidental damage to third party property and bodily injuries.
​

In line with the commercial insurance practice, the renter is always responsible for an amount equivalent to the excess clause not exceeding for Group A (RM2,000), Group B (RM5,000) and Group C (RM10,000).

Theft Protection is inclusive in the rental rates. In the event of vehicle stolen or vehicle missing, the Renter will be liable to the Non-waiveable Excess.
​

However, the clause is null and void should the renter is driving under influence of alcohol or drug, carry any drug product, not an authorized driver, or left the car key inside the car (careless mistake), and etc.

Rental rates includes Personal Accident coverage of up to RM100,000 per car at RM10 per day or RM70 per week (subject to Terms & Conditions of existing insurance company)

The renter is required to place a cash security deposit and an equivalent as a guarantee of proper usage of the vehicle for the entire duration of the contract.

Deposit amount is refunded if there is no damages, repair and replacement charges and traffic violation fines and parking fines incurred.

Rental duration - up to 5 days - RM $300
Rental duration - up to 12 days - RM $500
Rental duration - up to 30 days - RM $1000

Refund Schedule
Refund is based on the following working day
Rental period (1-15) - refund on 30th
Rental period (16-30) - refund on 15th

Payment
-
Payment can be made by cash and credit card.
-
The credit card must be in the name of the main renter and is kept as security when renting a car.
-
Pre-authorization on the credit card is a must for excess liability amount claim from the renter , upon pick up of vehicle.

Traffic or parking related offences
-
The renter is responsible for summons or fines issued by the Malaysia Traffic Police, Road Transport Authorities, or local municipal authorities, incurred during the rental period.

An additional RM 20 administration fee will be charged to the renter apart from the fine amount, for fines paid by My Johor Transport.

Petrol
-
Fuel tank level must be such that it is at full tank or whatever the original fuel level is, upon returning of car. Charges is imposed on fuel level not restored to the original fuel level.

Breakdown Service
-
In event of vehicle breakdown, Eagle Auto Assist shall provide towing service and the necessary assistance to the renter.

Renter has to inform Customer Service prior calling Towing Hotline.

Delivery and Collection Service
-
Car drop-off and pickup is free for hotel location within JB during office hours (8:30am to 5:30pm)
-
Charges of RM 30 nett per trip is imposed for any other locations, for delivery and collection.

Charges of RM 30 nett per trip is imposed for non office hours delivery and collection.

Entry into Singapore and Thailand

The Malaysia car is not allowed for driving into Singapore & Thailand.

repair and replacement of deface parts
e.g instruments, knobs and fitting ,baby seat, GPS Navigator, Spare tires, rims, tools & jacks, lamp, audio set, gear lock, lighter, wiper, switch & control button, mats, rear view mirror and side view mirror, sun visor, head rest and etc.

Car Underbody and Overhead condition
Renter is liable for the damage repair cost for the underbody and overhead repair that is not covered in the insurance policy

Unauthorized Workshop Repair & Replacement servicing
It may be required to restore to the original parts and charge the sum to the renter for changing of car parts
eg car battery, car lamp, car servicing tools, car upholstery, car tyre rim, car audio system

Vehicle condition
the car has to be in the same condition as upon during collection. Renter will be liable for the restoring cost if not comply.

Loss of car key
Charges levied for replacement cost for car keys and related items like car alarm system

Loss of Belonging
It is renter's responsibility that any belonging and valuable are not in the car upon returning.
The company is not liable for broken and damaged belonging or valuables while upon taking over the car.
